Bachelor of Music in Performance | Piano
Prepare for your future as a professional pianist with a Bachelor of Music in Performance, Piano Track within a culture of excellence and collaboration with your individual instructors who will encourage you as you work to become the passionate musician you were created to be.
Bachelor of Music in Performance | Voice
Prepare for your future as a professional vocalist with the Bachelor of Music in Performance, Voice Track at the University of Mobile Alabama School of the Arts. With collaborative training in both classical and commercial techniques, you will be prepared to go directly into a professional singing career, or to pursue graduate studies in voice.
Bachelor of Music in Performance | Commercial Voice
This exciting degree will prepare you for a career as a touring artist, background vocalist, commercial voice instructor, session singer, and countless other opportunities in commercial music. The faculty at the Alabama School of the Arts work passionately to cultivate singers who are marketable in the ever-changing world of music performance.
Bachelor of Arts in Music
Music is the form of communication that transcends all languages. Earning your Bachelor of Arts in Music will allow you the opportunity to choose an emphasis in your instrument and develop your performance and ensemble skills, with a broader understanding of music context as one of the humanities.
Bachelor of Science in Music | P-12 Teacher Certification
Pursue your career as a music educator in the Alabama School of the Arts with our Bachelor of Science in Music with Teacher Certification. As a graduate of this degree, you will be prepared to excel in your music programs for p-12 classrooms. The Music Education degree offers concentration options in choral or instrumental music, and you will grow pedagogical and practical experiences in teaching music.
Bachelor of Science in Music Education (Non-Certification)
The Bachelor of Science in Music Education with non-certification will prepare you to work in educational settings outside of the public school classroom. This degree will provide you with hands-on leadership and learning opportunities, focusing on music teaching methods and childhood development. You will have the flexibility to earn a music degree emphasizing theoretical and music knowledge as well as teaching methodologies without pursuing state-endorsed teacher certification.
