Bio

Alexandra C. Trosper completed her Master’s in Vocal Performance with a Bachelor degree in Music Education from Colorado State University. Currently she is pursuing her DMA at Mobile University. Trosper was selected to be an apprentice artist for Opera Fort Collins. Performed roles include: Delah Gift of the Magi, Hannah The Merry Widow, Johanna Sweeney Todd, The Governess The Turn of the Screw, Laticia Old Maid and the Thief, Queen of the Night The Magic Flute, Gretel Hansel and Gretel, Barbarina Le Nozze DiFigaro, Christine Phantom of the Opera, Lori Oklahoma, Cozette Les Miserables, Satine Moulin Rouge. Alexandra has performed internationally in Germany and China. She has been a featured artist for the following: Harbor Springs Opera House in Michigan, Charles and Rita Ralph Opera Center Colorado, Dimond Black Ball in Vail Colorado, Boulder Symphony, Soprano Soloist for the Messiah in Grand Junction with Handel Choral Society. Alexandra Trosper was also nominated as Educator of the year in the Eagle Valley School District for 2019. Trosper was the Musical and Choral director for Battle Mountain High School for four years in Vail Colorado. Trosper took the Altitude Choir of BMHS to Anaheim Choral Festival in California and placed 2nd in the choral division out of 26 choirs. She has consistently taken numerous students to the Colorado All-State Choir Convention for consecutive years.
