The Academy at Alabama School of the Arts exists to serve our community with music lessons for all ages and levels.

Who are the Instructors?

Our Instructors are undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in music. These students go through an extensive application process to be selected as Academy instructors and are supervised by Alabama School of the Arts (ASOTA) music faculty. Lessons are available with ASOTA faculty by audition only. All instructors undergo background checks.

Classes and Pricing

Fall 2024 Enrollment Period is August 1-29, 2024.

$350 for 13 weekly lessons.
Lessons are scheduled with instructor after enrollment.

Students are responsible for purchasing their own instrument and supplies.

Beginner Class Piano

Available for 2nd and 3rd grade students.
Taught by Dr. Stephanie Archer and student assistants.

$200 for 10 weekly classes.
Thursdays from 5:00-6:00PM.

No additional purchases necessary.
Maximum enrollment of 8 students.
