Bio
Roger has been a professional actor and teacher for over 25 years. He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity, and has appeared on a number of television shows, including iCarly, House MD, and House of Cards, acting opposite Emmy and Oscar winners. A graduate of Second City Conservatory, he has extensive experience in improvisational theatre in Chicago and New York City – which has informed a great deal of his approach to acting, including his award-winning performance as George W. Bush in the West Coast premiere of the off-Broadway hit musical “Bush is Bad”, which was partially improvised. He is a founding member of the critically-acclaimed Chicago theatre company Barrel of Monkeys, which adapts the writing of underserved school children into sketch comedy performed for the writers and their peers. As a teacher, he has taught acting, voice, and improvisation at University of Virginia and Rowan University, as well as various private institutions. He is a Certified Trainer in Lessac Voice & Body work and has also studied with world-renowned vocal coach Catherine Fitzmaurice.
