Raven Casey, a native of Mobile, is an accomplished alumna of the University of Mobile. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Worship Leadership – Church Ministry with a minor in Education and recently completed her Master of Arts in Elementary Education in the spring of 2024 all from the University of Mobile.

During her time at the University of Mobile, Raven made significant contributions across campus. She was crowned the First Black Miss University of Mobile in 2019, severed President of the UM Ambassadors, and participated in both Impact Worship and Ignite Worship ensembles. While pursuing her graduate studies, she also served as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of the Registrar. Her leadership experiences allowed her to connect with fellow students, guiding them in discovering their purpose on campus.

Currently, Raven serves alongside her husband, James Casey, at Rise Church in Mobile, AL. In addition to her role on the worship team, she is the Youth Worship Leader and teaches 2nd grade at Nan Gray Davis Elementary.

In her current role as Assistant Director of Dunamis, Raven believes it is just another opportunity to pour into other students the same way many have poured into her! She is dedicated to shaping and developing them into the worshippers God had called them to be!
