Bio
Keone Fuqua is a seasoned theatre professional with a rich and diverse background in the performing arts. With a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts/Communication from the University of South Alabama, Keone brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the stage.
Keone has helmed numerous acclaimed productions, including “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” at the University of South Alabama’s Theatre USA, “The God Committee,” and “A Raisin in the Sun” at William Carey University’s Carey Theatre, and “Les Misérables” at the University of Mobile’s Performing Arts Series. Keone has an equal passion for directing and acting, and he enjoys implementing specialized acting techniques such as Suzuki, Laban, and abstract movement.
Beyond the spotlight, Keone is deeply committed to education, having taught theatre courses at multiple institutions. His passion for storytelling extends beyond the stage, as evidenced by his appearances in films such as “Yellow Day” and the eagerly anticipated “Sword of the Spirit,” as well as various local commercials.
With a dedication to excellence and a love for the craft, Keone Fuqua continues to inspire audiences and aspiring performers alike, contributing to the shared legacy of theatre and entertainment.
