Bio

As a native East Coast Floridian, Jenna Goodwin grew up singing, dancing, and attending prestigious arts schools which instilled a high level of professionalism and excellence at an early age. In 2010, Jenna graduated from University of Mobile with a B.M. in Vocal Performance, minor in Theology, and an extensive performance resume. While performing over 150 concerts a year with Voices of Mobile from 2006-2011, Jenna was also seen as a featured soloist in large productions, operas, and musicals. She held leadership positions in college which opened the door for full-time employment upon graduation as an assistant to Dr. Roger Breland in the Center for Performing Arts, Road Manager for the TRUTH 40th Anniversary Tour, and an Assistant Director role for Voices of Mobile. She later completed her M.A. in Communications in Media and Arts Management Promotion from Regent University where she studied organizational leadership, production, film, and strategic communications.

As Executive Director of Administration and Production, Jenna leads the ASOTA staff and assists the deans and faculty. Additionally, she has served on the lead creative team since 2010, planning and producing Christmas Spectacular, Saviour, Spring Spectacular and additional university events. For the last 6 years, as Producer for Christmas Spectacular, the university’s largest annual event, she manages creative production, planning, budget, marketing, auditions, student involvement, box office, and post-production alongside an incredible team of creatives. Christmas Spectacular brings Jenna great joy each year since it allows her to directly mentor, invest, and lead the students in ASOTA through an exciting and highly attended event.

She is a gifted communicator, vocalist, worship leader, and educator. She has over 15 years of experience as a private vocal teacher, producer, road manager, vocalist, stylist, worship leader, and stage director. Not only does she have a passion for educating the next generation of Christian artists, but she also has a passion for educating the local church about the importance of Excellence on the Platform. She has led workshops in some of the largest churches in the world including, FBC Dallas, TX, Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, GA, FBC Jacksonville, FL, Dauphin Way Baptist Church in Mobile, AL, and Cathedral of Praise in Manila, Phillippines. Additional experience includes her work as an international tour director to France, Israel, China, and Phillippines, her role as a Unit Production Manager for multiple videos and recordings, as well as costuming and make-up for theatre and film. Jenna brings a confident energetic spirit to ASOTA and can usually answer any question you might have. If you can’t find her on the first floor of Martin Hall, she might be chasing around her two little girls and little boy, Riley, Audrey, and Anderson, or driving her black mini-van, “The Star Destroyer”.
