Bio
Cory Anderson, a native of Mobile, has been an integral part of the Alabama School of the Arts (ASOTA) staff since 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance with a minor in French. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Vocal Performance with a cognate in Vocal Pedagogy. Cory’s dual role as a student and staff member provides a unique and valuable perspective within the ASOTA community. He currently serves as the Coordinator of Academic Services, playing a crucial role in supporting faculty members and the Dean of ASOTA in various administrative tasks, including management of SACSCOC and NASM documentation, degree implementation, and course scheduling.
Beyond his duties, Cory excels as a gifted vocalist, performer, keyboard player, and worship leader, serving in the local church. Despite his busy schedule, Cory remains actively engaged with the college community, often found on campus or in town, offering assistance to students and readily answering their questions in the Caf during dinner.
Cory Anderson’s presence at ASOTA exemplifies the spirit of dedication, passion, and versatility that enriches the spiritual and academic environment of ASOTA. Through his multifaceted contributions, he has become an asset to the University of Mobile’s mission and commitment to fostering Higher Education for a Higher Purpose.
