Born in Germany and brought up firmly committed in the Lutheran confession, Dorothee graduated from the “Technische Universität Braunschweig” with a Master of Education, with an emphasis in the German Language.
Moving to the United States in 2008 offered Dorothee an opportunity to explore a new field of teaching the German Language that fueled her interest. Her open mindedness and thorough knowledge allowed her to be successful in teaching German to students with different language backgrounds.
Dorothee earned a certificate from the “Ludwig-Maximillian-Universität,
München” for teaching German as a Foreign Language. She is also currently pursuing another degree from the “Philipps Universität Marburg” to further develop her professionality.
From years of collegiate teaching experience and her own continuous education,
Dorothee is a resourceful, committed, and adaptable professional educator with
extensive experience and knowledge about teaching any aspect of the German language.
