Grow as a performer

We know high school theatre students dread being home alone in the summer. Spend two weeks collaborating and growing with like-minded performers. With intensives in dance, music, and acting, Alabama School of the Arts offers a top quality summer camp program designed to help all aspiring artists strengthen their talents and become more marketable in a competitive field.

Perform in a Showcase

Campers will participate in a Showcase Performance at the end of the camp. Build your resumé, gain professional performance experience, and be challenged from world-class instructors who are committed to providing an encouraging experience.

Showcase rehearsals will be incorporated Monday-Friday during camp intensives.

Camp Details

June 9-13 & 16-20, 2025

Who can attend?

Students ages 14-18 or students who have completed 8th-12th grades.

Is it two weeks long?

Yes! This is a 10-day-long Camp (Monday-Friday for 2 weeks) with a final showcase performance on the last day.

What time does it start and end?

All campers will attend daily intensives and showcase rehearsals from 9AM – 5PM each day.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount for any additional child attending camp. You will receive this discount after paying your deposit.

When is the Showcase Performance?

June 20, 2025 @ 7:00 PM

When is final payment due?

May 19, 2025

Instructors

Learn from world-class instructors who are committed to providing an encouraging and professional experience. Instructors include university faculty, alumni and students who have extensive experience as performers, directors, choreographers, singers, and stage managers.

Showcase

Perform in a final showcase and display all you learned during the two-week-long intensives. This cabaret style showcase will include ensemble moments, solo performances, dance, acting, combat and more.

A non-refundable down payment of $75 required to secure a camp spot. Deposit goes towards final cost of camp.
