We understand the struggle of finding things for your young children to do over the summer. After all, you still have to work!

The University of Mobile's Summer Music Camp provides a safe and exciting environment for children to learn all about music and performance! A week at Alabama School of the Arts' Music Camp will provide opportunities for instrument exploration, foster a love for music, and build performance confidence.

Gain Hands-On Experience

Instruments are expensive. We offer campers the opportunity to explore and gain hands-on experience with percussion instruments, piano, and several orchestral instruments. Through our instrument exploration classes, your child may discover a love for a specified instrument!

Camp Details

June 24-28, 2024

Who can attend?

Rising 2nd – 6th graders.

What time does it start and end?

All campers will attend camp from 9:00AM -3:00 PM daily.
Campers may choose to add an after-care option to their enrollment.
After care is from 3:00PM – 5:00PM each day.

What all is included?

Camp enrollment includes all class instructions, a camp t-shirt, daily snack, and award gift.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes, we offer a 10% discount for any additional child attending camp.

Is there an end of the week program?

Yes! You’re invited to see your child perform and display all they learned!

When is final payment due?

Final payment for camp is due June 3, 2024.

Instructors

Campers will be taught from outstanding music educators who are committed to providing an encouraging and fun environment. Instructors include university faculty, alumni and students who have extensive experience as music teachers, performers, directors, and choreographers.

All instructors will undergo a background check.

End of Week Program

All campers will perform in a final program and display all they learned during the week.
Join us June 28, 2024 @ 2:30 PM.
There will be a light reception to follow.

Pricing

Limited spots available, register now.

Register before April 5, 2024 and receive $25 off total cost of camp.

A non-refundable down payment of $50 required to secure a camp spot. Deposit goes towards final cost of camp.

Final payment is due June 3, 2024.

Note: Total Cost raises to $175 if you register before April 5, 2024.

+ After Care (3PM-5PM) $50

3:00PM - 5:00PM
Monday - Friday

Enroll in AFTER CARE for an extra $50 and your child can stay until 5:00PM each day.

After Care Activities may include watching musicals, outdoor recreation, musical crafts, and more.
